Need help managing severe behavioral issues like reactivity or aggression with other dogs, animals, kids, or adults? Or do you need guidance helping your dog cope with over-excitement, separation anxiety, stress, fear, or phobias?

During our consultation, we work with you to customize a program that specifically supports you and your dog’s unique needs. While each program varies based on those needs, we start by building a solid foundation of obedience.

Obedience empowers our relationship with our dog. It teaches both species how to better understand each other better, communicate more effectively, and bring out the best versions in one another. Through this process, we teach dogs that they can consistently rely on us for guidance, whether it’s on fun adventures or during the most challenging moments life throws at us.

But one of the most important lessons it teaches us, is how to regulate emotions in a healthy way.

The way we feel impacts the way we behave. The ‘problematic’ behaviors we see in dogs are often a result of emotional dysregulation and unhealthy coping mechanisms. While dogs express this differently than humans, it’s something we both share.

When we address emotional regulation at its core, we’re able to effectively tackle any behavioral issues that arise. But when these issues aren’t addressed, they can spiral out of control.

Once the foundation of obedience is set, we move into the second part of the program, which is specifically tailored to address the ‘problematic’ behaviors you and your dog are facing. In this phase, we focus on helping your dog adopt healthier coping mechanisms. We do this by teaching you how to guide your dog in making positive decisions when they face triggers and situations that challenge them.

Our goal is to help dogs become more comfortable with the uncomfortable – rewriting their narrative and guiding them toward a calmer, more balanced mindset.
